Men On Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus is a re-contextualization of the 1869 EXPEDITION of the Grand Canyon, told with a company of entirely Female and Non-Binary cast. My design was shaped around the movement of rapids throughout the Colorado River and the hypercolor skyskapes of the Midwest.
